Captain Tammy Everts is a USCG-licensed Captain with over 30 years of boating experience, offering thoughtfully curated, private on-the-water experiences rooted in a deep love for God’s creation. Raised in Minnesota, her appreciation for nature began early—avidly fishing the Brainerd Lakes Area where her family lake place was located, agate hunting, and developing a lifelong respect for the beauty and balance of the natural world.
After moving to Southwest Florida in 2012 from Luck, WI with her husband Jeff, Captain Tammy discovered a profound connection to the coastal lifestyle here in SWFL. What began as a simple love for shelling soon became a calling. In 2018, she founded her first shelling tour company and furthered her expertise by becoming a certified Florida Master Naturalist, allowing her to provide guests with an elevated, educational, and deeply meaningful experience.
Faith is at the heart of Captain Tammy Everts’ life and business. She loves Jesus and believes in serving others with grace, integrity, and intentional hospitality. She and her husband Jeff—married for 19 years—volunteer together at Grow Church in North Naples, where their shared commitment to service and community extends beyond the water. Their son Finn proudly serves as her First Mate, making each tour a reflection of family, trust, and care. Finn is on the Autism Spectrum which makes our tours unique in that we understand the challenges and can accommodate the needs of our unique ability guests.
