We're so excited you're interested in having your student join us for a 3-hour Backwater Discovery Field Trip!

Our small-group homeschool adventures are all about getting out on the water for hands-on, marine-based learning and exploration, giving students the opportunity to discover, experience, and learn about the incredible coastal environment around them.

We can't wait to welcome your student aboard for an adventure filled with learning, exploring, and making new friends!

Step Up For Students

Tide & True Excursions is a Step Up For Students Direct Pay Provider.

To register your child using Step Up For Students scholarship funds, please log in to your EMA Marketplace account, select Elective Courses, find Tide & True Excursions, and reserve your funds for the field trip.

Once your funds have been reserved, we will contact you directly to book your child for an available Backwater Discovery Field Trip date.

I understand that submitting this form is a registration request and that my student's space is not confirmed until I receive a confirmation email and the EMA funds are reserved for Tide & True Excursions.

I understand that a signed Release of Liability and Waiver are required to participate in the Backwater Discovery Field Trip through Tide & True Excursions.

I understand that this is a drop-off field trip and that parents/guardians will not accompany students aboard the vessel. These classes are designed specifically for students and due to Coast Guard regulations Tide & True Excursions is only allowed 6 guests per class keeping it small so each student receives the utmost care and attention.

I understand tuition must be paid or reserved in EMA within 24 hours to be able to book the Field Trip. Credit card payments are non-refundable, and scholarship reservations are non-refundable one week before class.

I understand that Tide & True Excursions does not offer proration or refunds for late starts, absences, or withdrawals.

I understand that unforeseen emergencies or inclement weather may result in a class cancellation, and that Tide & True Excursions will make every effort to reschedule the missed class during the week immediately following the final scheduled field trip day.
